'Rahat hi Rahat'

Bollywood music sensation, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was here in Toronto on April 30, performing live at Roy Thompson Hall and I was there to witness the magic. As the pride of his deceased uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat paid tribute to his 'guru' by performing some of Nusrat's old hit songs at his sold-out performance, "Rahat hi Rahat," last month. The crowd went wild as Rahat's voice reached unimaginable heights touching the hearts and souls of all present in the audience. Rahat's show catered to all his audiences. Along with reciting some remarkable qawalli's, he hyped up the audience with singing his most famous bollywood movie songs. It was an overall hair-raising experience!
